History made as HB Køge claims their first Kvinde Pokalen 4-1 over fc Nordsjælland
At Capelli Sport Stadion, HB Køge made history by winning the Danish Women’s Cup for the first time. The final pitted HB Køge assistant coach Rikke Sevecke and defender Simone Boye Sørensen against FC Nordsjælland head coach Chris Sargeant.
Coming into the final as league leaders, HB Køge had already proven their quality. This historic cup victory now makes them favourites to complete a domestic double. FC Nordsjælland will be disappointed, but they've got a young, hungry squad, and Chris Sargeant has built something steady there with their 4th consecutive cup final appearance. They'll learn from this, and go back to finish the season stronger than when they started.
Congratulations to both HB Køge and FC Nordsjælland on a hard‑fought final and outstanding seasons so far.
