Barbora Votíková joins Arsenal on loan

Barbora Votíková joins Arsenal on deadline day at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.

European and World champions Arsenal Women have announced the loan of Czech international Barbora Votíková from Slavia Prague until the end of the season.

Votíková, 29, who has represented Czech Republic 54 times, returns to the Women’s Super League after securing a League and Cup double with Slavia Prague during the 2025/26 season. Previously, the Czech #1 spent three seasons abroad with Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur. During her time in Paris, Votíková helped the team win the Coupe de France and reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League, following on from three quarter-finals previously with Slavia.

On joining Arsenal, Votíková said “It feels amazing to join this special club. Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world, with a special team and special supporters, so it’s a huge honour for me to come here. It’s been a dream of mine to play at Emirates Stadium and I can’t wait to get started.”
